Since Typhoon Haiyan struck the Philippines in November of 2013, people from around the world have reached out to help. Calvary Creekside sent a team of 7 to help with the relief efforts. They were able to help rebuild and aid several of the Calvary Chapels that were affected. They also brought supplies for the people including items to help with water filtration. Calvary Creekside has been working with Giving Children Hope to bring Lifestraws (water filtration systems) to the people in the Philippines.
Please enjoy our discussion with the 7 who returned from the Philippines on December 8, 2013
Below is a video made by U-Turn for Christ, concerning the events in the Philippines.
Below is another video from the area our relief team was working in, created by Reliance Church, one of the groups Calvary Creekside was able to work with.
Here are some pictures as the team was leaving on November 22, 2013. Click here for more pictures of the missions trip.
